Welcome to The GOLD The GOLD is a 501.c.3 non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the word about the joy and emotional rewards about the voluntary bodily donation of one’s kidney, partial liver, bone marrow, and blood. We believe the key to saving lives is inspiring a cultural shift around donation. Through outreach, education, and positive messaging focused on the virtues of selfless giving, we aim to promote living donation as an act of love and human connection within our New York community. Donations include partial liver, kidneys, blood, and bone marrow. We want to promote selfless giving as an inherent virtue, which will also make a life saving impact on the lives of those in need. OUR VISION: We aim to create a culture that believes living donation is part of what happiness, life, and community, are all about. We also envision a community where everyone who needs a life saving donation of blood, marrow, or organ receives one in time.
